• Brewe Krewe - Gasparilla Parade Beer

  Krewe of Italia:

  As we prepare for 2026 Parade Season, that can only mean it's  - BREWE KREWE!!!

  First up, beer for the Gasparilla Parade.   Krewe members will to help brew a 5 - gallon batch of beer for the Gasparilla Parade.    Members are welcome to come participate in the first of 4 sessions to create our own beer, enjoy a few beverages, and socialize with some light food - there might even be a chance to sample some of Matt's beer creations.
  

  Space will be limited and only to Krewe members per brewing session. 
  

  RSVP to join in on a fun filled event.  In the event you must cancel, please let Matt & Lindsay know - koi.italianclub@gmail.com.

  DIRECTIONS

  The community does not allow street parking, and if you violate there are some grinches who have nothing better to do on a Saturday but call the tow truck. It’s unfortunate, but in approximately 10 minutes your day may not be so merry + bright - so, please review arrival info below.

  While the gate systems have been broken for a few months, as luck would have it they just fixed the two main entrances, marked “1” (Valhalla Pond entrance) and “2” (Robert Toll entrance) on the attached map.

  There is a call box at each of the main entrances. Please do the following: 1) Select “Phone call”
  2) Select “Find a name”
  3) Type “Sinko” and it will call either of us to open the gate.

  In the meantime if you see someone going in, just follow them in.Your destination is the black star - 4823 Barnstead Dr. There are areas of parking in the green rectangle - you can park in any spot, they are more restrictive on residents. Obviously the gold filled green rectangle is the closest, but who knows what will or won’t be available.

  RELIAQUEST BOWL PARADE

  TUESDAY, DECEMBER 30, 2025

  5:30 PM

  Tampa's historic Ybor City Latin District is host of the popular ReliaQuest Bowl Parade. Fans enjoy High School Marching Bands from across the country along with floats and the participating college bands and cheerleaders as they march down 7th avenue.

  Stay for the Pep Rally at the end of the parade route then stop by the many restaurants and night spots throughout Ybor and Downtown Tampa.

  The Parade steps off at 5:30 p.m.  Unlike the Knight Parade,  this parade travels West on 7th Avenue, beginning at 20th Street.   Our float will be staged on 7th Avenue, travel west on 7th Avenue and disband near 15th Street.

  Registration:  To participate, please register here:

  Staging: Floats and vehicles will stage on 7th Ave between 20th and 22nd. Vehicles/floats will start arriving around 2:30. The parade starts at 5:30 PM.  Please be in staging no later than 4:30.  This parade is extremely short and therefore, we will not be providing any food or beverages.  You are allowed to bring your own water as long as it is in a non-glass container. 

  Participants: No one under the age of 18 is allowed to walk the route. If you are bringing a guest 18 or younger, they must ride the float for the duration of the parade. ALL participants will be required to sign Krewe of Italia's Release and Hold Harmless prior to parade start.  Blank releases will be available on the day of the parade. 

  Security: We will have 6 monitors around the perimeter of the float for your safety. 

  Music: In consideration of the High School Banks, NO MUSIC WILL BE PLAYED FROM ANY FLOATS OR VEHICLES  ON THE PARADE ROUTE. There will be plenty of live music provided by the bands...and remember they are competing during this parade. The Band Champion will play on the field as part of the pre-game show for ReliaQuest Bowl on December 31st.

  Throws: Beads only, no coins, no candy, no paper materials etc.  This is a BYOB parade - BRING YOUR OWN BEADS.

  Attire:  You may wear the colors of the two teams that will be playing in the Bowl game or you may wear the colors of the Italian Flag/Sicilian Flag. Check back on our website for team updates.

  Pep Rally: There will be a pep rally celebration after the parade in Centro Ybor Plaza at 7:00

  CARNEVALE' - A MASQUERADE BALL

   SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2026

  Masquerade Ball at the historic Italian Club of Tampa.  All Guests will begin the evening in the Cantina with a 1 (one) hour open bar, light hors d'oeuvres, and a live serenade performance by Ray Chiaramonte.  Starting at 7:00 pm, the second half of the party continues on the 3rd floor with another 1 (one) hour open bar, gourmet buffet dinner by Olympia Catering (including dessert and coffee) and music by the DeLeon Entertainment DJ.  At 8:30 pm continue dancing the night away with a live performance by the DeLeon Band.

  There will also be a silent auction with a chance to win many exciting items.

  We kindly ask that all guests wear a Masquerade Mask.  Attire for the evening is Formal attire or Krewe Costume.
  
  TABLE RESERVATION:  $1,400
  Open seating in the Cantina from 6:00PM -7:00PM with entertainment performed by Ray Chiaramonte, including open bar for 1-hour and light hors d’oeuvre.  At 7:00 PM, the party moves to the 3rd floor for dinner and live entertainment.  Your reserved table of 10 will be waiting.

  Let’s Earn $750 for the Krewe – and Have a Blast Doing It!

  Hey Krewe!

  We’ve got an awesome opportunity coming up – and it involves fun, free lunch, and $750 for the Krewe of Italia!

  We’ve been invited back to help out at the Gasparilla Run in February, just like we did two years ago. Remember how fun it was handing out race numbers and chatting with runners? Well, we’re doing it again!

  Here’s the deal:

  • We need 20 volunteers to sign up
  • February 20, 2026
  • Krewe volunteering is a first-come, first-served, so sign up early to ensure KOI is included
  • It’s a one-day commitment
  • They’ll provide lunch and water (because volunteers shouldn’t go hungry!)
  • Last time, we did the Friday 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM shift, and it was perfect!

  We need a few more for Friday morning  So if you are interested please sign up.
