Son's & Daughter's of Italy

Krewe of Italia along with Son's of Italy & Tampa Sister Cities are looking for volunteers to help keep the tables clear of debris during the event, set up, break down and anything in between. Volunteers are needed on Saturday, the day before from 10:00 AM - 4:00 and during the main event on Sunday, from 12:00 - 6:00. See listed times under tickets for complete details.

All volunteers will receive a lunch and water during the shift. It is requested that all volunteers park at Hamilton, 3409 W. Lemon Street.

In celebration of our Sicilian Heritage, and the long-lasting relationship between Argrigento (2025's Cultural Capital of Italy) and Tampa, we invite your to join us in commemorating the rich heritage and deep connections between the Italian community in Tampa Bay area and the people of Agrigento.

This event will take place on Sunday, April 12th from 1:00 pm -5: 00 pm at the Sons of Italy Lodge (located at 3315 Lemon Street, Tampa, FL, 33609). The event will feature traditional Italian cuisine from local restaurants, vibrant folkloric dances and music, Italian Fashion, demonstrations of wine and olive oil production, and much more! LATIN AMERICAN FIESTA ASSOCIATION ANNUAL SUNDAY FUN AT THE TRACK

Krewe of Italia,

I’m excited to share that the Latin American Fiesta Association, who continually supports our Krewe events, is hosting their Annual Sunday Fun at the Track, and it promises to be a fun afternoon with great food, lively company, and exciting horse racing!

This is a wonderful opportunity to get together, enjoy a relaxed social setting, and support an organization that does so much for our community.

If you’d like to attend, please follow the instructions on the attached RSVP form from the Latin American Fiesta Association to reserve your spot. Payment must be completed shortly after the RSVP deadline, so timely responses are appreciated.

The Track charges the "Fiesta" a late charge of $5.00, if your reservation is added after the R.S.V.P. date for the track you will pay $65.00

Pasta Making - Summer Social I (9 May 2026)

Krewe of Italia is proud to host our first Summer Social: Pasta Making!

Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to make fresh pasta from scratch. Chris Hinsley will explain and demonstrate how to create different variations of fresh pasta, while Lindsay Sinko and Matt Sinko will circulate among the tables to provide guidance and assistance. We’ll also host a fun trivia competition during the class.

Once you’ve completed your pasta creations, you’ll have the option to cook and enjoy them on the spot or take them home to savor later.

As you prepare your taste buds for your handmade pasta, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of Prosecco. During the demonstration, we’ll walk you through the entire process—from mixing the dough and allowing it to rest, to running it through the pasta machine to create linguini or spaghetti.

We’ll begin with a social hour from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., and the class will start promptly at 4:00 p.m. A cash bar will be available throughout the class in the Italian Club Cantina.

Previous classes have been extremely popular and filled up quickly. Registration will open to other Club members on March 18, with pricing set at $40. Don’t delay—space is limited!

Krewe of Italia is proud to host our second Summer Social—a hands-on Mozzarella Making Workshop!

Join us for a deliciously fun experience where you’ll learn how to make fresh, stretchy mozzarella from scratch. Guided by our resident cheese enthusiasts, you’ll discover the secrets behind perfect curds, experience the joy of stretching warm cheese, and of course—taste your creation.

You’ll be welcomed with a glass of Prosecco as you prepare your taste buds for crafting your very own take-home mozzarella. Social hour will be from 3:00–4:00 p.m., with the class beginning promptly at 4:00 p.m.

A cash bar will be available during the class. Once your mozzarella masterpiece is complete, we’ll provide a container so you can safely take your delicious creation home.

Your mozzarella-making guides for the day will be Gianna, Joe, Cynthia, and Chris, who will walk you through the art of crafting this Italian favorite.

Registration opens to other Club members on April 20, so don’t delay—space is limited!
