Our September Mangiamo dinner program will be at Cena Tampa. Born in Huntington Long Island, and raised locally in New Port Richey, Chef Michael Buttacavoli grew up surrounded by authentic, family Italian cooking. Chef Michael spent his formative years as the Chef de Cuisine at Boca and SideBern’s. Following his tenure, he served as Executive Chef of the Fresh Harvest Buffet and the flagship restaurant, Council Oak, at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Cena has also been a sponsor of the Italian Club during the Wines of Italy.
The Cena Tampa dinner will be on Tuesday, September 19th. Since Cena is normally not open on Tuesdays, we will modify our reservation scheduling slightly. Dinner reservations will be on a first come basis starting at 6:00 and continuing to 8:00pm.
Cena Tampa is located in the Channel District at 1120 E. Kennedy Blvd., Suite 112, Tampa, 33602. This is in the northeast corner of the Grand Central Kennedy Complex courtyard, between East Kennedy and East Madison St. Parking is available in the Grand Central Garage off East Kennedy Blvd, near the entrance of Crunch Fitness. Should you want to take the TECO Trolly from Ybor, exit at Publix stop 5, at McKay Street & Channelside Drive, cross Channelside Dr and walk-up East Madison St to Cena.
